What are you saving?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 16, 2008:

Memorabilia from not only mine and my husband's childhood, but my children's lives as well.  Hopefully when I get older and my memory fades, I will be able to look back on my memorabilia and remember.  As for my children's they will recieve it when they marry and be able to prune out anything they don't wish to keep, and add to it whatever they wish.  I also am an avid collector of book series' that I like, and one day will pass them on to my children.  I have a few from my childhood, such as Anne of Avonlea, Trixie Belden, and Nancy Drew, as well as fiction that my husband and I have collected over the years.  We are both well-read, and enjoy the same genres.  I also tend to save my books from my college classes so that I can brush up on them because not only do I love school, but I feel that education is important, and it is a wonderful way to keep your mind active.  My husband and I have recently begun to save more money- we have taken financial courses, because we were always bad at saving.  We are getting better however.  These are the most important things to me, but I am a collector, so I save many things.
